The VIATOR® Bluetooth® Interface is a point-to-point modem for temporary connection to HART-enabled field devices for use primarily as a configuration management tool. The VIATOR® Model 010040 Bluetooth® Interface is designed for use in General Purpose locations.
The MACTek VIATOR Bluetooth HART Interface allows you to turn off the modem remotely with a software and to check the remaining battery charge. Moreover, it is possible to put the device to sleep with optional VIATORCheck PC software to save power.
The modem requires three batteries and thus allows the use of the device up to approximately 20 hours. For communication between the BT modem and the PC host a connection via Bluetooth or an USB/Bluetooth converter is required.
